Death of NASA

Some time ago a group, that included me, wanted to rend the US Space Program away from the bureaucratic mess we know as NASA. SpaceX was borne. IT held great promise for the revival of the Space Program because it was not bogged down by international politics. There were no spies. True believers in Space wanted Elon, not the pretenders at NASA who did not believe in Space at all. At first NASA was disgruntled, and did not cooperate. Soon the success that SpaceX demonstrated was hard to ignore and NASA was obliged to give up its standards for space…

You will take this injection!

People are alarmed and will be watchful. P Trump has said he hopes a vaccine will be available by the end of the year, and that the military will be used to administer it. I believe that would be unconstitutional, and undesireable. People should always have the choice to take a vaccine or not. After the lockdown, and the manner in which the nursing homes seem to be targeted, ho could blame people for avoiding a vaccine? Furthermore, how do we know what is in that vaccine? There is a concern that China, if it makes a vaccine, might intentionally…

Trackers?

Never liked people tracking me in my car without permission. I found it, a cellphone-like device, disconnected it, shut off its power, and placed it into a metal box. I felt like I had just killed a terminator. Should I still give it a couple of whacks with a hammer? Now they want to track my person, and hunt down all people who come into contact with someone. It is an outrageous intrusion into our lives, like Facebook agents. Contact tracking is already used for pernicious, sexually transmitted diseases in which the tracking is tight. This protects public safety, and the…

Mutually Assured Contagion

Give yourself a disease and go to America. You will get free health care and potential citizenship! That was the deal with HIV in Africa during the Obama administration. A new version of this may be in play. I get a disease and I go to spread it in America. If open borders are maintained, there is a comfort in knowing if you live a hyper populated country, you can impose this sort of tit for tat. It is mutually assured cantagion (MAC). It is the neutralization of Fort Dietrick, the destruction of a branch of US Defense and Strategic…

Fudging Numbers: Corona

It seems like the entire airlines is down, because one pilot has a cold.  Could a country that does things like this, survive for long? Dr Fauci can say anything he likes.  We all know the numbers are false: test results, and number of deaths.  He can prognosticate whatever he likes, but if his models rely on false information, basically they are rubbish.  What does he say he is finding?  Just so happens he want to continue everything in lockdown as long as possible.  That is not an accident, it is what he and his supporters want- a flimsy excuse…

Perdition in Purdue?

We are not taking chickens here.  Purdue, is hell bent on reopening this Fall already.  But face it, with distance learning many of these sprawling land grant institutions are dinosaurs, affordable and unable to keep up with innovation.  The promise of these places was to provide an educational uplift for the average citizen, and they have mutated into something else.  Why would anyone want to pay exorbitant rents, and tuition to go to these havens of Communism?  Liberty dictates.  Nature hates a vacuum.  In times of distress, the more economical pathway is supreme.  Yes, I xeroxed books, and I would…

Cutting the Meat, and Punching It

Several meat cutting plants are closed, endangering the meat supply for the last few weeks.  Smithfield Hams in Illinois and S Dakota, and now several in Iowa.  They finally let on that these incidents involve illegal aliens, who got the Corona virus.  The National Guard has moved in, to assist the ill, and to make transitions at the plants.  Similar problems have arisen in dairy. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/iowa-sends-national-guard-troops-225054924.html

Silly Taxpayer

This crazy taxpayer thing stated with paying taxes: It was noticed that many people, simply thought getting money back from the government was getting money, not getting your own money back.  Huh?  How could that be?  Whatever.  Although they know better, sortof, they still always feel they are getting something rather than getting something back. You see the same thing in the medical system: Enormous costs, fairly substantial premiums for many, the push for Medicare for everyone, and the obvious need for substantial adjustments- but it stays the same because like a case of mass hypnosis.  It is easy to…

WHO can the president Trust?

In the national arena, the president broods over the waters, or the data, and hopefully makes good decisions.  He knows however, the people on his team are openly misleading him.   Birx even admits it, saying the numbers are liberal, or whatever.  In fact the deaths due to Corona Virus are not at all reliable.  How about the tests used to determine if a person has caught the virus?  Clearly that is another possible weakness in the process.  Where can you get straight answers?  Certainly you cannot use a Chinese product, and if his team asserts something, could they be believed? …
